The HUB – Heavy Underground Breakdown

Hinter der Abkürzung stehen Megan und Kayla, zwei Studentinnen* der Toronto Metropolitan University, die ihre Begeisterung für die Metal- und Punkszene Torontos einfach nicht für sich behalten konnten. Zum Glück, denn aus dieser Passion für Alternative und Underground entstand im März 2023 die Radiosendung The Hub . Seit Februar 2024 wird die Sendung auch bei HoRadS 88,6 immer Donnerstags um 20 Uhr und Samstags um 17 Uhr gesendet.

The HUB – Heavy Underground Breakdown

The names behind this show are Megan and Kayla, two students of Toronto Metropolitan University, who just couldn’t keep the hidden treasures of the Heavy Metal and Punkrock Scene of their city to themselfes. What bliss – Because of their passion for the Alternative Subculture, they started The Hub in March 2023. HoRadS found out about them in February 20204 and startet to broadcast their show right away. It airs every Thursday at 8 pm (CET; 3 pm EDT) and Saturday 5 pm (CET; 12 am EDT).
